About Qilin Library

Guitar straps are a small thing. But the right one changes how a guitar feels on your body, and how you feel on stage.

We make guitar straps for players who pay attention to the details. The ones who spend an extra five minutes getting the right height before soundcheck. The ones who notice when a strap digs in after two hours of playing.

How we got here

We started because we couldn't find straps that were both well-made and interesting to look at. Most of the market splits into two camps: cheap nylon straps that slip off your shoulder, or expensive leather with zero personality. We wanted something better than both.

So we started making them. Handcrafted straps in denim, woven fabric, leather-accented designs, and prints from leopard to retro florals. Each one goes through the same construction process whether it ends up on a $200 starter guitar or a vintage Les Paul.

What we make

Our catalog covers a wide range of styles because players are different. A jazz guitarist and a metal guitarist both need a reliable strap, but they probably don't want the same one.

We make straps in:

  • Denim: durable and casual, softens with age
  • Woven fabric: lighter weight, good for long sets
  • Retro and floral prints: for players who want something with character
  • Leopard and bold patterns: for people who don't want to blend in

Most of our straps fit standard guitar strap buttons, work on electric and acoustic guitars, and adjust to fit most body types. If you're strapping a ukulele, we have options for that too, including designs that work without a strap button.

Quality you can actually feel

Handmade doesn't always mean better. But in our case, it means every strap gets checked before it ships. The stitching, the hardware, the way the material sits when you adjust it. A strap that unclips mid-song is not a small problem. We don't sell those.

If something goes wrong with your order, we have a return policy and a contact page. Real people answer those emails, usually within 24 hours.
